Switched out the stock fender with this one from Evotech. I went with this one because I could reuse the stock turn signals and license plate light. Instructions were pretty straight forward. Took about thirty minutes to install.

Thanks for posting the pics -- I've been thinking about getting that one, but wanted to see better pics of what it looks like. Looks good.

One question though: maybe it's just the pics, but it looks like it positions the plate at nearly a 45-degree angle. Not sure why. Is the plate just as visible from behind as with the stock tail? The LEOs around my area can be pretty strict when it comes to these kinds of things.

Yes their quality is second to none. I love the powder coating on the rad cover. Z1K4Me here's another angle.

I went with Ronnie from sales. And any parts I order from Tucker Rocky or Parts Unlimited I go to David in sales. They're pretty cool guys. Always willing to help.

Who did you order from?

Looks like the 2010 z1000 is $94 shipped, that is a pretty good price, they are quality fender kits
I just ordered mine... along with the rad guard.
:)
hey guys just thought I would mention that I had placed my order on the 29th and still have not received my order. I am in Vancouver Canada.
Apparently it's hung up at Customs. I have emailed Evotech about it as it's their responsibility to get me my product. They use Royal Mail services and I guess Royal mail service's broker has been sitting on it for 10 days.

Ridiculous. this better get cleaned up or I'm getting Visa on their a$$es.

Garry at Evotech was prompt with getting on this matter and I give him huge props for it. I just got it this morning. The Canada Post lady said that it was Canada Customs fault and that it will only get worse closer to xmas.

so originally delivery was set for 6 days and it took 20 days. it sat with them (can cust) for 11 days.

the package was safely packed the tail tidy and rad guard are very light and well constructed. nice stickers and keychain given with it.

I'll be dropping it off with the bike shop tomorrow they are in to the process of putting my bike all back together with all sorts of new farkled goodies.
Is this product still recommended? Anyone else find a fender-eliminator/tail tidy they like better?
ok ! not a bad looking eliminator but bunji cords holding the exaust on . really ????
Yea I don't get that - what are the bungee cords for? Are they just an extra or are they related to the fender eliminator in some sort of super-ghetto way?

Nice link though - I think I'm gonna go with the basic one - inexpensive and gets the job done..
I ordered the R&G Tail Tidy, along with a set of fork sliders (to go with the R&G regular sliders that are due today). I like that eBay one, but I know the R&G one is tough, and I'll be strapping my tailbag to it like I did on my ER-6n, so I had to be sure the thing was durable.

The EVO is similarly priced, and even beefier, but with the R&G you also get an LED plate light.
