Saturday was my bday..

I guess someone decided I need some culture in my life... so I was taken to a Cigar shop and then a ride. Riding buddy lended me a GoPro on a suction mount. This is the result.

1st time ever taking any video. Nothing too crazy or twisty - was more worried about the camera falling off. But I"m super excited with the result for my 1st attempt.

Placement of the camera is a shot in the dark until you get home. Video has a stabilization filter on it (a Power Director feature) and some brightening control.

Bring on the flames... :flamethro

I like the GoPro as a learning tool at the track. 'Tis good for that. Did I really hit that apex? Was I as on the throttle as early as I could have been? Should I use a different braking point? Etc.

Your placement is good for that kind of use. I tried mounting it to my tail at the last trackday, and a: lots of my *** and b: too much wind on the straights. I need to finish fitting my fairing.

on the track you need someone who knows how to ride to tape you from the back. Only way your going to be able to truly critique yourself.

might as well give that camera to someone else and have them follow you in return for a few laps of their own footage. :)
