Always, and always returned.
seeing as how I am an LEO, it's 100% ;)
I wave the one finger salute.

Just kidding. I've waved and nodded sometimes. Occasionally they return. About as often as cruiser riders. :killingme

lol oops. Good catch. Fixed.
Always, but then they sometimes U turn and follow me :/
I used to but I never got a return so I quite trying
I do, but I still haven't had one return it.
Don't see any around here. Guess I don't live in an area where they are needed. Traffic must not be dense enough. I did see some once in Montgomery, AL working radar in construction zones on the interstate. They weren't wearing gear which surprised me.
None around here. They're all in cars. I walk a lot as well and when I am walking, I always wave to them as they pass in the cruisers. I live in a small town and I think it's a good thing to show support for the few individuals that keep the entire community as safe as possible.
All the bike riders around here wave, including LEOs.
Well, all but the jerks that wear the vests sporting their "colors" on the back riding harleys.
i dont generally wave, i just say hello why am i being stopped when i see them....
a nod is much more appropriate.
I once had a SMPD LEO on a BMW chat with me about my new 250R at a stop light. But when I see Johnny Law I am more concerned about watching the road, my surroundings and following proper riding habits than to wave.

So, are you saying that is the only time you are watching the road, surroundings, and following proper riding habits? What do you don when there are no LEOs around? Mmm?

I always laugh at how people react to Police Officers. They slow down below the speed limit and God forbid they actually pass a cruiser who is going slower than the speed limit.
I rarely wave to em...

Drives me nuts as well when I'm going down the highway and encounter the wall of traffic that is afraid to go past the cop. The cop and traffic is usually going 110 or 120 (limit of 100). I just creep by at 5-10 km/hr higher, wait till he's out of sight in the rear view, and bump it back up to 140. Never had a problem.

I've never been pulled over when I knew I was speeding. I only seem to get caught when I'm just cruising along and then look down and realize I'm doing 20 over and there's a speed trap right in front of me. Doh!

I should clarify that I never see cops on bikes around here on the roads although I do see them around work (airport) preparing for escorts of important people... I nod or wave to cops in cars on occasion. I'm always worried about drawing extra attention to myself though.

I wave or pull up next to them. I work in a mental health center right next to the police depo so we have come to know eachother well haha.

It's always a "crazy" day for me.

this usually irks the ever living **** out of us... If we're going over the limit and you still pass us it gets annoying

the only speeding tickets i've really ever written were for this... usually I write other movers and warn my speeders...

guilty consciences. very annoying.

however, california recently passed a "slow down for the roadworkers" and, i presume, "slow down for the cops giving tickets" law. drivers are overreacting in an effort to comply. they'll become less sensitive with time, betchya.
