I used to have one on my 01 Vulcan 800 classic. Piece of cake to install. Basically you just need to hook power from the batt gauge to a power wire on the bike. I mounted mine on the triple tree, so I used the power wire inside my headlight bucket. Ground wherever. Functioned very well. When I reved up the motor, the lights would go to green and when I was idling would be in the yellow. Never should be in the red. It actually saved me from getting stranded! For a whole week the gauge was never going out of the red. Tested my batt. and it was going bad after 5 years, so I replaced it.anyone put one of these on their bikes? hard to install,,where did you pull hot lead from,,where did you mount yours?
