I read somewhere on the forums once that someone took a baffle out of their stock exhaust. Call me a n00b but I thought stock exhausts were made to be quiet so there wouldn't be a baffle on it but I peeked into my exhaust yesterday and it looked like there was a smaller pipe inside that could possibly come out.

I put a broom handle in my exhaust but the pipe didn't budge. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Do a search in the forum. There is a photo of the guts of stock exhaust. There is no baffle in the traditional sense.

the stock exhaust uses a bunch of isolation chambers to get rid of the noise, that inner part was about 2/3 the weight of the whole thing.

Search the forum for 'cherrybomb turbo thrush', or variations of those words. Cherrybomb makes a car muffler that's almost exactly the same size/shape, but lighter and more free-flowing. Basically all the work is done for you that way.
