Well, I was in my parking lot at work which they re-asphalted... and there's special motorcycle parking behind some quasi islands surrounded by small curb like mounds of ashpalt. So I do my usually "I'll just go over them" move and heard scraping. I scraped the bottom of my engine because the changed the hieght of the curbs Arrgh! Looks like it's fine no leaks, but it really scared me. Anyone else do this - any lingering side effects?

As long as your engine case is ok you're fine but I wouldn't make a habit of it. People can use the engine case as a jacking point so its strong but thats very different than striking something with any degree of speed.

Thanks for putting me at ease, I was in 1st gear when I hit. Also I agree that the frame should be lower than the engine.

I'll stop pretending I'm Travis Pastrana... at least on my meanie.
