I'll install it this week. I'll do before and after pics.
Waiting for results as well
Don't you need some VTX Shocks to go with that

Ha ha. Nope, I'll stick with my 412s.
There are Vulcan Voyager owners who feel that their bike leans over too far and supposedly the Mean Streak side stand will swap with the Voyager stand to bring the Voyager more upright.

Y'all might want to post a trade over at Vulcan forums and the Vulcan Riders Association.
I swapped my Nomad stand for one off a 800 Drifter. Much better!
Got mine today.
Got the 900 stand since I got the vtx's 3 years ago.
Works awesome! :D

same here, lean angle is just right. I did not need it when just using the vtx shocks, but with the 8 deg. trees it was a must have.
900 kickstand installed. Here is a before and after lean angle reference.

Very easy mod. The two key tools used were ratchet straps and an electric impact wrench. I ran a couple of rachet straps to the shop rafters as insurance. I tilted the bike just enough to where the kickstand was still touching the ground but no weight on it. I slid wood up under the frame on both sides and snugged the ratchet straps. The spring is pretty darn strong. I raised the kickstand, ran a loop of wire around the bottom/back of the spring and hooked the loop up to a ratchet strap I had ran thru the rear rim. I cranked the strap just enough to release the spring from the kickstand and left it like that. I used the electric impact wrench to loosen the kickstand bolt. Swapped them, reinstalled bolt/nut, raised the kickstand, lined up the spring and released the ratchet strap. It took longer to set up than it did to swap them out.

Thanks to Conmar for pushing me towards this needed mod.
