Hello guys
My bike is 2017 ninja650
today i start my bike ,everything is normal,then i'm kick in to the first gear but forgot the side stand,its on down position,so the engine was stop.
I retract the side stand,then its wont start again,i tried everything i could,neutral gear or first gear with clutch
the battery is fully charge,13V
i just wonder has anyone got this problem before?
i called the dealer and tomorrow they'll send my bike to check.

normally in neutral gear it should be able to start,no matter that switch is malfunction i think?
i'll tell them to check that switch first.

Looking at your videos, also make sure that the battery cables are securely connected to the battery.

100% sure,cuz i took the battery to recharge few hour ago and retry,cables were lock on tight when i put it back

Did you ever figure it out? My 650 is having starter issues as well. I was informed by a engine mechanic that it could just use some starter fluid but I’m struggling to find any intake valves.

Hi. Welcome onboard. The OP's #6 post says battery life low -so from that I'm assuming that while it held 13V, it was faulty and didn't provide the high amperage required to start the bike.

What specific starting issues are you having?

I actually found out it was my battery as well and nothing with the starter. But I do wanna improve air flow so hopefully this manual will help.

Try a K&N reusable air filter.

K&N have been around for decades. I've used them for 50 years. I'm running a DNA air filter in my Aprilia. It has good feedback online. Maybe search for it in Youtube.
