I can't help but notice that the service manual for the 2017+ Ninja 650 is unobtanium right now. Kawasaki's own site is out of stock, Partzilla shows backordered. I'm about to hit up a 3rd party like service-shop-repair-manual dot com and buy what is almost certainly a scanned and printed version, but I'm not sure I have any other options at this point.

It's a new bike so I'm just stunned by the scarcity of the service manual. I'm sure I can use the PDF version of the ER6F or previous gen service manuals for some stuff but honestly if I'm going to take care of my brand new bike I'd rather just shell out for the right manual.

Any other leads you guys can think of?

I've seen some on Ebay. I can't post links due to this being my first post, but you can probably find it yourself :) Looks like there's a genuine one sold by valleycyclecenter.
