Looking to turn my Meanie into a bagger. Im looking into getting a stealth batwing fairing sold by usa trailer store that is made for a 2006-2010 Vulcan. Before i buy i would like to get some other opinions on how the fitment will be. I assume i will have to tweak it a little bit, maybe extend my headlight out a bit. But i am not too fimilar with how the vulcan and the meanstreak compare. After i get the fairing mounted i plan on getting some Harley hard bags and mounting them on the bike as well. Would love your guys opinions! Thank you!

2004 in local Kaw dealer showroom trying to decide between Nomad and 'Streak:
ME- will you want to ride with me much? Wife- No, not very much.
So I choose the 1600 Meanstreak. Wife decides to ride with me more than once in a while. :wtf: With the 3/4 stock seat she makes it a struggle for me to breath and my nads are laying on the tank. I get a short padded Mapam sissy bar to keep her from having that feeling she must squeeze the breath out of me. It helps but seat still not comfortable for her buttocks. So for Christmas I get her a Mustang King/Queen saddle for both our comfort. The short sissy bar is only one inch higher than the Queen seat. I got a taller padded Mapam sissy bar. Add a tail rack, and toss over leather saddlebags, and another sissy bar with a much wider pad (recommended to wife by wife of a fellow rider). Highway pegs and a one size fits all windshield later and I now have a Touring Meanstreak.
Now that you know my life story, I think you will have some fitment problems to deal with especially with H-D parts. if you can tinker and fabricate some custom brackets you may be able to make everything work but it will be labor intensive and may be hard to get the result you are looking for.
My biggest concern is the additional weight and the stock suspension will be overwhelmed. This will affect comfort and handling and probably tire ware. My suggestion is to embrace the suck and leave it as a true cruiser and get an OEM bagger that will have suspension and tire size designed for the extra weight. I bought a 2014 H-D Tri-Glide in 2017 and problem cured for cargo and two-up comfort. :righton:

Yo did you ever fit a batwing on there? I'm looking to do the same right now and notice there's no compatible ones except by one by Memphis Shades which looks too old-style for me, the batwing style you're looking at is exactly what I'm going for as well.
