Black 2003 Z1000, some of the upgrades in the sig. are gone but it still has the lsl sliders, scotts damper, 636 suspension amongst other things. The PC3 and solo cowl are gone. Bike has 37k on it but has always had religious maintenance, and only ran Rotella-T oil. I commuted and did my share of distance riding on it. Tank is dented but I have another tank for it. I also have another set of 636 forks for it, that I was in the process of building up for possible track use (they have been gone through with new parts by my friend, a MMI instructor). Shows some minor scratching, ect from regular use. All in all though a nice bike with some good upgrades. Starts right up and runs very strong. Due to mileage, I have priced it accordingly....

$2700

Pretty firm on that, but ofcourse the money talks (and the b.s...)

I have a new bike that I bought more for the purpose of tour riding, and need to let go of my much loved Z :sadpace:. If there is any interest pm me, I will get some pics out, and probably put some up here too. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. I'm in MD but will drive 1-2 hours to meet (or go further but in that case I have to stay firm on price to re-coup on gas). Will really miss this bike, and if no-one bites, I may very well find a place to store it and make it a track-only ride.

a few pics.
Miles?

That looks like a super clean bike... that should sell!
Has 37k on it. Runs very strong, I didn't beat on this bike like a squid.

Clean for the year/mileage, minor tlc wouldn't hurt but in all honesty it looks and runs well.
Are your side covers professionally painted? If so how much would you want on top of me paying shipping to send my stockers to you and yours to me? That is if you would be interested in doing so.
bump for a good, solid bike! at an excellent price!!!
Reasonable offers accepted :glassesti

I know their is someone out there, maybe a zr7 guy that wants to finally make the leap to the beast :FIREdevil.... she is waiting for her new home.

Thanx holmes! Hey you should swing down to MD for a weekend, been finding a few decent roads as of late.

Someone buy this thing before I make a track bike out of it!
That's an amazing price for a super clean looking bike! Good luck with the sale!

Yeah I think so :yoda:
NF-EKT and i would ride all over Fl with our Z's and for sure his ride was always well maintained and by no means riden like a squid. We teared up all 3 or 4 curves we have here in FL. Sorry to see you selling it bro, who ever lands this bike will not be disapointed, Good luck with the sale my friend :alcy:
Missin' my Florida crew... :alcy:

Almost starting to consider trades on the bike, like high-end guitars/basses. But it would have to be really top-notch stuff with a similar value...MIA Gibson/Fender/Rickenbacker.... plus cash if the value was a bit below a straight up trade. Just throwin it out there.

Bump.
Nice bike. I wish I could afford to have 2 two bikes. What is your replacement?

2008 Fz1, shift red / gold wheels. Getting more into sport-touring and wanted something that would run the highway as well as the curves. Not as flexible as the Zed in terms of chassis or motor (think hunting knife vs. a fighting sword) but it has smoother airflow and ballistic top-end. FWIW I'm a Kawi/Yami fan for life. Ones a party girl the others a seductive little b!tch. Both get the job done ;).

Gotta tell ya... if it don't sell I'll happily stick it out. The only real reason to sell is because i just don't have any room for it. MD life in the city is not as easy to deal with as I'm use to.

Offers people.... lets get something happening. I bet somebody has a 70's P-bass and a grand just floating around :agree: Or.... enough scratch to grab a bike that is priced LOW.
Bump... is the price too high or something

I guess it's soon or play on the 'bay. Bueller...Bueller....

Forum is dying out??? I vote Track bike! Ill be heading down to FL again with the Family in 2 weeks. Probably be my last ride of the season...:sadpace: Then its on to building the 75' CB750 bobber Ive been neglecting forever. Looks like next season we will definitly have too make the weekend riding a tradition though!
i don't know if it's economy or what, but yeah it's been dying down a bit it seems... alot of the old-schoolers just aren't on as much, things not moving like they once did :sadpace:.Just about every Z topic has been beat into the ground, many have moved on. Selling is hard right now you can't even give things away anymore. Anyhow I got a text today on it, Looks like $2400 is going to be the final price if it goes down tonight... not too thrilled about it but I need to put money together for getting into a new place, ect. I here you on the CB's I got a 78 550 that has just been sitting (for sale too)... What days are you going to be in Florida? I'm going to be in Orlando the 18th-21st. Either way once things warm up some riding is for sure. One thing I'm liking about the Yammie is it's decent on the highway, so I don't mind riding a couple of hours to PA. I know some MD roads now too so anytime you want to swing through lmk :alcy:.

So.... sale pending.

nice man! we are leaving the 19th and should be there saturday afternoon. We can check in the RV at 1 so pop's wants to be there right away! We should try to meet up before you head home. Will be staying at the Disney Wilderness Campground. Side note: how much do you want for the 550?

Hit me, maybe we can work something out. I'm trying to get 500 obo on the CB. Kerker 4-1, cafe racer seat/bars, progressive suspension rear shocks. Needs the ole' clean the carbs and paint. And a new battery. Let me know.
Another bump for a nice ride, too bad there's not enough interest at this forum. I would post it on the bay or Craigslist. That bike should easily bring $3k. Hope she goes to a good home.
