2002 Meanie question(s)

Hello fellow Meanie owners. My situation(s) are/is, my 02 Meanie has the Goat Belly under it with NO o2 sensors. I want better sound and performance, can I just remove the stock system and install V&H or Cobras with no other addons such as a fuel reprogramming computer? Yes, she is Fuel Injected.

I got it handled with a set of V&H pipes off a V-Twin Harley.
