2012 Ninja 650 I have a generic steering damper. I am running into a small problem with mounting. I don't really find it prudent to drill a hole into the frame, and it looks (from my limited perspective) that I'd have to affix one end of the damper to the triple tree and the other to the frame...

Just bought the 2012 650R, trying to lower it with some sport bars( or anything else), anybody have any suggestions of ones that will work for sure? Also maybe a fender eliminator kit or anything else you would suggest doing to it?
