For Sale Mean Streak and Accessories

I had posted in both this and the mainb For Sale forum. The one in this area got moved and/or deleted. I am leaving motorcycling for a while.
Selling my 2002 MS with 13000 miles along with all of my gear and accessories for $7000. Take a look at the post in the For Sale section on the main page for more details.

If posting this in two areas is a violation of forum rules, I apologize. Just wanted the Meany loyalists to see the post before it went to Ebay.

    Thanks.

What is on the bike is going to stay with the bike. I have some stock stuff sitting around the garage, but I am not parting out the bike. I still really, really, really like this bike.
I work as a police officer here and recently have been to a few fatal motorcycle accidents where idiots in cars just weren't paying attention and creamed the motorcyclist. Call me what you will, but I can't get the vision of that happening to me out of my head and I have become very nervous on my bike. I have decided that it is just not worth it. I have a wife and a 10 month old son. So I will buy a fish/ski boat. My partner has decided to sell too if you are interested in a Yamaha Road Star. So if anyone has a boat they want to trade, let me know.

    OEM bike parts

Do you have the OEM mounting brackets for the pegs? I really just need the right one (i.e. brake side), but if you have them and want to sell as a set, I understand.

Sorry you are getting out of motorcycling, but I also understand where you are coming from. I had a minor accident (i.e. no other vehicles involved) on my previous bike, and it took me a long time to regain my nerves.

There are no guarantees in life, but as far as hobbies go, this one can be pretty dangerous.

Give me a few days, I have a deal in the works, and the buyer may want the stock peg setup due to stubby legs. I will get back to you with a yea or nay.
