    Experiences with Ergo-Fit seat?

I'm 6'2" and thinking of grabbing this. Does it help much, if at all?? Mostly worried about my hips and legs getting as they tend to get cramped after a couple hours in the saddle.

What is the Ergo-Fit Seat? I googled it and only see one for the Vulcan S. Sorry to say that you probably should have bought a Versys.
Skill is what keeps you on two wheels.

Situational awareness combined with skill is what keeps you out of harm's way.

ATGATT combined with Situational Awareness and Skill means you might live to ride another day when that deer runs into your bike or that drunk blows through that stop sign.

I have heard that if you combine that seat with a peg lowering kit...the bike is much more comfortable for riders over 5'10".

An inch higher seat will mean the bars will be an inch lower when you are grabbing them if that is comfortable to you.

I did lower pegs when I had my '07 Ninja 650. Tried a lot of solutions and after 4 years and only 15,000 miles, I traded for an '11 Versys that I put 30,000 miles on in 4 years.

How's the padding? I'm not happy with the stock seat, so I was looking at this as a possible upgrade. I'm only 5'10", but I'm not worried out the extra inch keeping me from touching the ground. I'm just hoping its more plush.

That would be interesting. If it were more plush, it wouldn't raise you up an inch unless it was more than an inch taller than the stock seat. If you are looking for more plush, you might consider sending your seat to Spencer for is Supracor treatment.

Awesome. Looking forward to hearing what you think. I did another 200 miles today and was reminded of how much I hate the seat. I've reached out to Seat Concepts to see if they have something in the works for the 2017 Ninja 650 / Z650.

Was curious if you ever got your new seat and what you thought. Thanks

Yeah still wanting to know the answer to this myself!! Now that the honeymoon period is over I'm starting to notice how cramped I am. Will for sure pull the trigger on the ergo fit seat after I get some new tires.

Sorry guys, I have been away for a while. Have a few thousand miles on the ergo seat and it breaks in nicely and gives my knees the break I was looking for. No if I could just figure out some better bars that have a more downward bend with less backward sweep I’d be all set!

Ordered mine today for my 2018 N650. Got it from the dealer and redeemed some loyalty points so $160 total. I am 6' 260 so I do not care much about the additional height, I am just wanting the extra comfort. The stock seat isn't awful for rides under an hour. But more than that gets rough of course. I will will report back my experience. I was looking at others like Corbin, etc. but they seem to large for me. Doesn't look right. If the Ergo does not work out I may give Spencer at Great Day To Ride a shot. Especially for only $50.
