    Nice thanks. I am still a little nervous... I dunno how committed I am to removing it yet - I am just not in love with the Ninja logo. IMO this bike is so much more sophisticated than the idea of "one of those Ninjas"

    So how are we supposed to know if its bad ticking? I can hear it almost always below about 30mph. Above that and its inaudible. Ever since reading this thread I have become self conscious about the ticking... I don't even know if it did it to begin with.

    I can tell you NOT to get a MotoStance M-6 Rear Stand. I ordered it from an online vendor and the picture didn't clearly show the "Universal" mount which has posts used to lift the swing arm. It does NOT fit the Ninja. I am waiting for a refund so I can order a T-Rex-Racing stand.

    Would be hard to believe if you crack the throttle open in first it wouldn't come up... although I haven't tried it myself. I really don't care to get the front wheel of the ground. There is so much torque in first it seems a wheelie would be poorly controlled.

    Don't worry yourself about the power. As long as you aren't wringing out everything she has in first, you are not going to feel overwhelmed. Obviously you will start out more cautious and slow on the clutch and throttle, that is only natural. Unless you are a total dub, I don't see how...
