    Keyless ignition - 2014 Ninja 650

Hello, I'm in the process of removing (deleting) the key ignition on a bike I'm building, the platform of which is a 2014 Ninja 650 that was salvaged. I already deconstructed the ignition and noted the five wires (red, grey with 100 ohm resistor, white (battery), blue, and brown).

I'm curious if anyone knows how to arrange these wires for a 2-line or 3-line switch that would be substituted for the key ignition?

To give an example, this is one candidate 3-line switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Based on my review of the limited electrical schematics that omit the resistor and red wire altogether, it appears that a 3-line switch is necessary for both engine start and light functionality. For example, in a 3-line switch, the first line would couple to the white wire, the second line would couple to the brown wire and the 100 ohm resistor (which is coupled to the grey wire), and the third line would couple to the red and blue wires. I haven't tried this yet because I don't want to fry my electronics

I reviewed a couple other threads on here that were helpful, but don't provide any switch wiring guidance:

https://www.riderforums.com/general-...race-bike.html <---- in this thread OP wired a 2-line switch (I think) that allows him to start the bike, but does not provide for lights.

https://www.riderforums.com/general-...-resistor.html <---- in this thread, OP installed a switch on the left side of his handlebars that he uses as a substitute for the key ignition. He did an outstanding job but I have been unable to reach him.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for taking a look.

I dont have the information you’re after however it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. If you can remove the ignition switch and meter out all of the connections in each position? Then replicate with your new setup...
