I’m researching so I can eliminate handlebar switches and convert to single throttle cable assembly. I have not been able to find anyone else who has done this to their MEANSTREAK but plenty of people have done it to Harley’s and even Honda’s. Everything is pretty straight forward except I can not find any information on what type of throttle connector the meanstreak uses. The diagram shows the closing cable is threaded and the open cable is pushed on and secured by external screw. All of the throttle assemblies I have found accept screw type.
Do I have to buy a cable that works with the single throttle assembly and just mod it to work. Anyone do this to their meanstreak?
If no reply’s I’ll hopefully figure it out and be the first to reveal how to do it to make everybody else’s life’s easier.
Thanks in advance
