Fork spring help
So this might be a dumb question, but I need the answer. I bought some Race Tech springs. They are longer then the stock springs. I double checked the part number and it appears to be correct. Do I use the stock spacer or cut the spacer that came with the new springs shorter? Is the longer spring for the increased spring rate? Do I need the total length of the stock spring and spacer to equal the length of the Race Tech spring and spacer? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The directions that came with the new springs should tell you how big of a spacer to use. I know Sonic and Progressive springs both ship with these sort of directions.
