    Fork oil replacement, fork stuck collapsed..

    So I'm changing my fork oil and installing preload spacers, after compressing the fork / cycling it to get the oil out its catching when collapsed and doesn't want to re expand... any ideas or am I going to have to disassemble?

    See my post in your other thread. Happened to me years ago. Be patient and next time you get it free, don't compress it all the way again!

    Give the lower tube a light tap downward on the lower lip where the seals are with a rubber mallet while holding the upper tube in your hand. It will come free. It doesn't take much force. Alternatively you can give is some good pulls and it will come free. The key is to use less force and work your way up until it releases vs reefing on it from the beginning and not to scratch the upper tube.
