After getting my ZR back on the road from the wreck, it started missing and running rather poorly. I took it in to get the carbs and timing adjusted and was told that the center carbs are cutting out. They feel that something may have gotten into the carbs and were asking if it had been stored for a while. I bought it in November but am unsure of how long it sat prior. My question is: Does anybody have any idea what would cause the carbs to cut out?
It has a new fuel tank on from the wreck and am curious as to whether there may have been residue inside the new tank. This problem started after getting it back from being repaired.

Hi Dave. Doesn't sound like they did a good job "repairing" your bike. Now, if they knew the carbs were not functioning, why didn't they pull them off, take them apart, and check them out?
You can take the carbs off yourself. Follow the Jet Kit instructions from the main site. You may find your problem inside the carbs. I would guess that if two of the four carbs are malfunctioning, then the problem must be inside those two carbs.
