It is better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Abraham Lincoln.

isnt that a bit too low to be rolling thru the twistys?..a lil bit of lean and your draggin and lifiting the weight off the tires....
i get hit in the helmet by tall daisys when im out carving sooo yeah
As to the original question of lowering the motorcycle for less than $50, have you tried the little things you can do for free? Reduce tire pressure by 2 psi. Slide the forks up until they almost touch the handlebars. Trim the seat foam 1/2 or 3/4 inch (12 to 20 mm). Reduce the pre-load of the rear shock to its minimum. None of these mods will get you very much closer to the ground but if you are [U]almost [U] where you want to be collectivelly they help a little bit.
What about the side stand? Once upon a time when I thought I wanted my 2000 ZR-7 to be lower I had the stock links modified and then had to shorten the side stand because I was worried when I had to park with the left side of the bike even slightly up hill.
