    sh0rtlife,
I like your hard bags setup.
The bags are a good size. Not too large that it makes the bike into a fat-assed monstrosity.
Also, the placement is good (more towards the end of bike).

yeah the bags turned out real nice on my bike..but i think the key to that was not being afraid to mount them at the same angle as the exhaust and the fact i wanted them as TIGHT to the bike as i could get without them being ad an odd angle like taped to the shape of the tail....i also hung them as far forward as a passenger would still be comfortable...in the end it turned out better than i expected.......i honestly cant STAND the way most bags look on a bike regardless of make..somehow these just work..shrug...id gladly clone it for someone else but i have no idea who made the bags....

nice thing is tho...i can pop this rack off with 4 allen bolts in a a min or less.....so if i dont need it its OFF...but right now it just ran to BC no vibes no rattles nothing..and even in that monsoon rain everythings dry

Hey sh0rtlife, I think I may have found some bags that are similar to yours. Not exactly the same but the dimensions seem to be similar.
Check these out. The manufacturer is Tbox.

Spent a few hours modifying the rack and the bike to get it to fit. Hopefully tomorrow night we will have it done. The rack is awesome! I'll put some pics up tomorrow of the progress so far.

Had to grind down the spacers you made, will have to widen the holes for the lower grab handle bolts. Don't worry, nothing big.

So the rack arrived yesterday and man it looks awesome! Clean welds, nice design. Very pleased. For those that don't know, shortlife fabricated this on his bike, which doesn't have the OEM fender or turn signals. Started up the fitting... Sorry for the iffy pics, was using my phone.

Had to take off the OEM fender, unbolt the turn signals and unbolt the painted plastic tail section.

Then we had to take off the taillight

Lots of wiggling and funny angles working on getting everything to fit. Definitely NOT something you want to do if you're worried about scratching the tail section of the bike. Thankfully we weren't worried about it.

Ok managed to wiggle everything together for a loose fit. Turn signals are unbolted, but in the original location.

It is clear now the OEM turn signals will not work in the OEM location. We himmed and hawed about this for a while, decided to just move the turn signals down a bit.

While I was working on that, Karla was grinding down the spacers for the upper grab rail mounts. There were a little too tall. Karla has an associates in carpentry and used to work 20 stories up on the outsides of buildings putting up decorative siding, so she gets to use the power tools.

We got the spacers the correct length, so now the lower mounts line up vertically. However the lower mounts aren't quite lining up horizontally.

Here's how the rack sits right now. Turn signals are good. Upper mounts are good. We will tackle making the lower mounts work tonight, then get all the body parts bolted back together.

We will get the saddle bags back on tonight too once it's all said and done. I think they'll fit just fine since Karla hasn't carried any passengers yet. They will likely block the passenger pegs. Will pull down my rotopak gas can too and see if we can mount it on the side, that would be sweet.
