    Where to Get Cargo Nets?

I'm trying to locate a (bungee) cargo net for the bike. I had a red one I'd bought at a Honda shop in California (I think) and it served well for a year and a half, but the elastic got brittle from sitting out in the sun and elements an started snapping.

The local dealers near me have some nets but they aren't long enough; they're 15"x15" I think. I think I need one that's at least 20" (wide). Anyone know of any sources?

Ok, I tried Chaparral, as well as the link above, as well as a whole bunch of places online from a Yahoo search. No one sells cargo nets. And the ones that do are too small.

So... if anyone sees cargo nets at their local dealers that are at least 20" wide, please let me know

Where'd you get your last one? All I could ever get was those cheap things that only last a month.

I can't remember!!! I think it was at a Honda store in Monterrey somewhere. I have no idea what their phone number is either

I'm not sure what bungees you were using Martin, but mine lasted about a year and a half, so that's not so bad for around $10. I just never missed the convenience of it until it's gone.

    Emrah,
Emgo makes them in a few different sizes - except they don't sell directly. I think most major dealerships can order from their product line though. Even gets you a part number on this page.

    emrah,

have you considered 3/4 or 1" nylon straps? they can be had for < $2 at many outdoor stores. lengths range from 12" to 60."

Individual bungees I have. I really need a net to be able to stretch and conform to different sizes and shapes.

    I'll try that emgo lead....
