    Question ? about windscreens

I've been riding my bike naked [ no wind screen or fairing] and all is fine but I want to put in more milage and thought a wind screen would help.:?
I picked up a small one and it really helped with the wind BUT now my wrists are getting sore
I know that without the screen the wind was helping to hold me up , should I not try to cut off all the wind so it can help.
I know I rode 450 miles this week end but my wrists had never hurt like that before, any ideas would be helpful
One more thing I should add ,I've got one of those air pillows too help my butt [till I can get the seat like berto's from Sargents]
So I'm sitting up a little higher so I wonder if maybe I need higher handle bars?
I think it's just like in cold weather riding you fix one thing to stay warm then the next coldest part gets your notice

i noticed the same thing when i had the targa blast shield installed so you're not alone. since then i have gone to the buell blast screen which is much smaller and also changed to some o'neal bars. the bars let me sit up straighter but not so far that the wind beats the hell out of me. only about $20 so maybe they're worth a look for you.

Really at speeds under 140km/h ( about 85-90mph ) you really don't need a fairing I think. You are right the wind just sort of hits you in the chest and keeps you there, sort of like a ski-jumper. ( now theres a proper winter sport ).

Even on sportsbikes the fairing screen still allows you to wind-surf to keep some weight off the wrists. A short screen on the the ZR-7 will just deflect it higher around the helmet area wouldn't it?

The riding position on the ZR would have to be one of the most user friendly I have encountered. If you gotta fit a screen try the ZRX one. Looks great
