    Question Highway Pegs?

Has anyone ever tried mounting a set of clamp-on highway pegs onto their case guards? Did it work?

(Don't laugh! I have highway pegs on my KLR!)

Not yet, but as soon as I put a set of engine guards on, a set of pegs are going on them. I found they would be real handy for those long trips... Welcome.

Yes, I've seen at least one picture of highway pegs mounted to the engine guards on a ZR-7. I can't remember who's bike it was though......

I think it was that guy, what was his name again, oh yeah, Dennis Hopper. Just jokin'

Hey, Rich. I had the same thought a while back. My question was the feasibility of that riding position on the ZR. I now have the Corbin, and Holeshot bar. Sometimes, I'll sort of try and put my feet up where they would be had I those pegs you speak of. That looks a little wierd, so I only do it when no one's looking. But, I must say, this may not be such a bad idea. I am feeling, though, that I don't want to put more stuff on the bike. The added weight, wind drag, ect. Plus, it further changes the whole appearance. Well, I still think it's a neat idea. It adds to the retro aspect of the bike, and detracts from the modern aspect. That's my cents-say. Talk to you soon, and welcome.

Naaaa, I've seen that, and those others, before. I really like the Kawasaki one the best. Anything else looks like an "add on" where as the Kawi looks stock, lending to that reto look.
