    Question Best flyscreen/windscreen for the 2000 ZR-7?

Who out there has a flyscreen/windscreen on the 1999-2000 ZR-7, and would you recommend it?

The GF thinks she'd like to try a screen on her ZR to see if it will reduce windblast in the chest. She is only 100lbs or so, and could use a little less wind trying to blow her off. Thanks!

    Y2K ZR-7 Screens

    Groovyone-

I've had the National Cycle F-15 on mine almost since I bought the bike new in December of 2000. No complaints. You can see a pic of it mounted on a ZR on their site.

I wrote a review for the ZR-7.com accessories section. You might check that out to save me from going over it all again. One of our Aussie friends bought one and contributed some great pics of his installation, although it's on one of the slower red models...

You and the SO are welcome to meet up with me and check it out in the, er, plastic. I'm in Missouri City.

I still think the Buell/Holeshot screen looks best on the ZR. But mine is still 100% nekkid!

I've got the National Cycle F-18 fairing. For me, at about 5'7" and 145 pounds, it doesn't deflect much wind. I was torn between that one and the F-16 (I think). If you decide on a National Cycle product, I'd highly recommend dealing with them directly instead of one of their vendors - their customer service is top notch.

Mike, I did see your review. Thanks for the heads up! You aren't related to a Barbara Pratt working at JSC, are ya? I have been looking at a 1991 Mustang 5.0 LX in your neck of the woods.

Ya know, the more I look at that F-16 windscreen, the more I like it.

That does look cool. I'll have to show her the picture.

My bike with a Buell Blast screen on it. I had to fabricate brackets to make it work. The Buell Cyclone fairing is a little taller and more squared off at the top-- I think it actually looks better, but I got this one for $25 at a swap meet, so I can't complain.
