I have a 04, long story, semi-short.

Went on a long trip, bike blew three headlight bulbs - replaced with 55 watt H7s each time, they worked for a few hours them blew again.

Couple of months go by - I used the high beams which seemed to work fine until it stopped working.

It sat for about a month, went to start it and the battery was dead. Got a new battery but the headlights done't work blinkers and tail lights work fine. Changed the fuse in the fusebox, new bulbs - still nothing. Bulbs look fine.

I've heard that Kawis have a headlight realy somewhere, I don't have the service manual.

Any Ideas?

Sounds more like a short where a wire has rubbed throught the wiring loom and is creating an intermittent/bad earth.
