looking for tires ? :: good deal for PIRELLI Diablo Supersport .
not sure if anyone is looking for tires but cyclegear is having a great deal on a pair of tires for one day. As suggested from many fellow Z1000 riders I'm going to try the 180/55 for the rear.
I'm not due for tires but this deal is a pretty good deal to pass up.
120/70-17 + 180/55-17 $169.98
120/70-17 + 190/50-17 $179.98

That's an AWESOME deal! If I hadn't just put new tires on (less than a few hundred miles ago), I'd snag some up.

They do this every year apparently. Its a great deal. I am still loving mine that I put on last year. 3,500 miles and still a lot of life left on them. Def jumping on this deal again.
Thanks for posting it!!!

no problem .. did you go with the 180's or 190's for the rear?

190's. I'll prolly stick with that again. I like the way my bike handles so no reason to mess the tire dimentions.
Dual compound as in harder rubber in the center for commuting and softer on the sides for the twisties right? If thats what you are talking about I’m pretty sure they are just single compound.
I def like them a lot more then the Bridgestone battleaxes that were on the bike when I bought it. Flat spot on those at about 2,000 miles was slightly worse then the flatspot I have on my Diablo's at 3,500 miles. By 5,000 miles on the bridgestones I was pushing it dangeriously close to a blow out. Seeing that def didn't make me feel good. And the bridgestones got to enjoy the brake in period as well. I don't really think my riding style has lightened up any so I'd say the Daiblo's are pretty nice. Plus if I can get the mileage I am and that price every year then I'll just keep buying them. Like I said I really like the way my bike handles.
Also might want to take into consideration that most people feel that the bridgestone battleaxes (Stock tire on the 03-06z, least I am pretty sure they all got it) are a POS as far as tires go.
Anyone else feel like shareing their expereience? I know a fair amount of people jumped on this same deal last year.
