    Z1000 Water Pump Leak

This is more of an FYI than anything.....

I had been smelling coolant when Id ride for a while now, but never could track it down. I thought I may have missed a clamp when I replaced them all 2 yrs ago, but never sure, until two weeks ago. I had pulled the bike out of the garage to clean it (the garage) and let the bike warm up, well I started to smell coolant, and went over to check it out, and it was leaking from the water pump. It appeared to be coming out around one of the bolts, but it was the pump. Anyway, I took it to the dealer (I have extended warranty) and they fixed it. Turned out it was the seal. Total was about $95, though I paid nothing....

Only crappy thing is I missed the ONE nice day to ride since my Z was in the shop!
