I have never done a group buy so I am a newbie when it comes to this.

Anything I need to know beforehand?

The price you posted, is that for the Z750S as well or only for a solo seat for the Z1000?

If the Z750S is included, you should also post it here:

ok, then I will patiently wait.

looking at Corbin's website, this is the seat for the Z750S:
    http://www.corbin.com/kawasaki/z750smenu.shtml

I would go with the "Gunfighter" only.

you said we will have to pick the leather. But I can't find a link on Corbin's website showing the different options of material.

I am kind of relucatant to go with LEATHER because it seems to be it always rains when I am going places. Leather soaks up the rain. With vinyl you just wipe it off and it's ok. Nothing worse than sitting on a soaked seat for hours.

I knew it. Us "small" ones (Z750S) are missing out again. It's always just everything for the "big brother".
I am glad you are going to get a good deal. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!

May be he can get us 750 people a good group buy, too.

I bet if he can swing it it will be a bit more....like $75-100 more as the retail is $100 more. That being said I bet its totally worth it.

Usually they suggest leather on top and vinyl on the sides...but I hear you about the rain...I used to carry a plastic bag under the seat but try not to ride in the rain.

    cheers...MB

I can do z750 seats, but I will have to check on price. If you look at Corbin's site when you go to the "order" screen there is a drop-down list of materials and colors. Or there should be a tab on the homepage that talks about materials. They do offer a lot of naugahyde choices.

Crimson...can we move ahead with these 5?

    1. Crimson/friend (Z1000 solo)
    2. Marucusu (Z1000 solo)
    3. HappyScrappy (Z1000 solo)
    4. Vera (750s)
    4. Shirazk (750s)

If he does give the go ahead I am assuming he will need everyones' details; IE what seat configuration...

I'll get the z750 prices today, if the prices work for you I will add an item to the store. It doesn't matter which five seats I order as long as its five total, so this should work.

it would be nice if you would let ME make my own decision.
i have no decided yet if I am going ahead with this. It depends on how much. And then I had no time to look at the Corbin website in detail to check out the options re material and colour.

Yes, I am interested, but I have not committed to a purchase yet

Don't worry I'm not ordering anything until I have the money in hand...so there won't be any jumping the gun. My job isn't to force people to buy things, it's to help them find what they want, and then have it available when the mood strikes. I guess I'm a kinder, gentler, parts guy.
