I don't have a cheaper alternative but I had extenders on my 07 Z750s to get around the exceptionally good view of my elbows that the stock mirrors give you, and they just made the vibration that the stock mirrors suffered from worse (I blame the extra pivot point). So when I broke a mirror during an off road excursion I replaced both with 2011 n1k mirrors they have longer stems and are angled lower (you do have to use the original bases as the mounting bolts are spaced differently and they do make the bike a little wider for lane splitters), but they give you a lot better view of what's behind you and vibrate a lot less than the originals even without extenders added. I don't recommend extenders because of the added vibes, new mirrors will cost more but you end up with something that you can not only see but identify as well in your mirrors, for instance before I could tell there was a car behind me but not whether it had lights on the roof or not (something I find handy when a car comes up behind you quickly, it helps when you don't like having a cruiser behind you)
2007 Z750s, 10 zx6 rear shock/linkage, 10 zx6 forks/brakes, HEL front/rear brake lines, Dynojet pcv 17-050, 08 Z1000 clutch and cover, Parts Unlimited 16 tooth front, Supersprox stealth 46 tooth rear sprockets with 114 link RK chain, heated grips (unsure of the manufacturer), bar risers from twisted throttle, 11 ninja 1000 mirrors, Acumen gear indicator, MRA touring windscreen, Corbin gunfighter seat.

Try the Chinese mirror with blinkers. I've gotten rid of the z750s upper on my bike but with the upper I have now they work great and to get rid of the vibration try doing away with the rubber grommets in the upper fairing support. Pretty sure that's what causes 99 percent of the vibration and don't see the benefits of having them there
