i have the ermax belly, which i'm not a big fan of because of the way it flows up into the engine recesses. it just doesn't flow with the lines of the zed. but, i do not regret installing it.

the thing that sold me on the ermax was that i was able to order it color matched...i didn't feel like messing around with painting it.
another plus is that it comes with all the needed hardware and brackets.

imo, the best looking belly is the extreme graphics one. but they have been out of business for a few years now.

wow....mikie likes it.. yes thats what i've liked about the ermax belly pan style is that it can come prepainted to match the bike right off the get go.. but the sticker shock is what gets me.. i finally broke down and bought one online but i'm going to modify it & refiberglass it and then paint it myself. Trying to save myself some green so i can get a new seat & chain/sprockets still. well this is what i have right now for a pic.

thanks tr6mike, now that i see pics of my zed, i don't mind that the belly pan fills in the recesses of the engine at all. and it is well worth the extra coin for the installation convenience.

btw, nice lookin zed mike, black, as you well know is the fastest color.

yeah its worth the extra coin for the ermax belly pan for sure.. Did you slash cut your stock exhaust yourself or someone do it for you? i've seen people shorten them but not slash cut em'.. how did the ends of the pipes turn out? i bet it sounds sick..

Would you mind telling me what wheels or paint job u have done on your wheels, I'm seeing a lot of Zs with these chrome and coloured tint wheels and they look so smart, are they an aftermarket wheel or just standard ones resprayed?

I could be wrong but all 03-06 Z's had the polished/coloured wheels from factory.

Also if anyone is browsing this thread and wondering about the Ermax belly pan, its worth the $$, though fitment was tight and it took longer than expected to bolt on (but maybe cuz I didn't know what I was doing at first).
As for colour match, if you have an 03-06 green Z: the colour listed by ermax is wrong, its more of a lime green than a yellowish green. I had to get mine re-painted to match everything else, ALSO it comes from France so you could get hit with Brokerage fees from UPS, im in Canada and got hit with $70 brokerage.
