I've been using a medium size Airhawk on my '07Z. It's the only way to roll unless you enjoy the pain of a stock seat. I used it on my S3T going to Laconia this year and after 750 miles I wouldn't ride without it.

Is that the medium cruiser or the medium pillion size? Does it slide around on the seat or stay put?

Another option is the butt buffer gel pad. I installed one in my seat and did a 6k mile trip after. It was a lifesaver. Its looks almost stock rather than the ugly airhawk.

I could care less how it looks. It's how it works that matters. You are not sitting on any hard spots all day long that puts stress on your butt. We had gel inserts cut into our seats on our Harleys at "Daytona" and it didn't make a whole lot of difference. My girlfriend rode her Duece cross-country with an Airhawk and said she would never had made it without one. Also, you can store it in your saddlebag or backpack, switch it back and forth between bikes that you are riding, and use it when you go to the races to sit on. Mine is the medium cruiser and I found it on CL for $80 in new condition!

Oh yeah, It doesn't move at all, has a rubberized anti-slide material on the bottom!

Awesome, thanks! One last question. Are you using the Airhawk with the stock z750S seat? Do you find there's any problem with using the Airhawk with the stock seat sloping down towards the tank?
Also: what's CL?

CL>>>>Craigs List. I am using it on a Z1000. I actually like it positioned closer to the tank, keeps me from sliding forward. You can adjust as you ride, both for comfort and position, as well as air pressure.

I use the Ride Easy motorcycle seat gel pad. 13 hours of riding and no numbness or pain. www.**********.com
