I may be interested in an ermax hugger, and maybe a solo seat cowl. do you have both in black for an '07? I could only find the carbon fiber on the website (not Ermax). Also, what kind of delivery time might I expect? Please feel free to answer on this thread or by PM. Thanks.

I don't have any of the 07 Z1000 items in stock, it usually takes 2~3 weeks to get them. I order direct from Ermax so that's as fast as it can be. If you order from me I can charge you normal UPS shipping because I order a few thousand dollars of parts from them a week and it costs about the same amount to ship 5 pieces from France or England as it costs to ship one. The parts come in any color that the bike was offered in.

Anybody know of one that fits that description?

This was on Motospecialties.com website. The photo is for a CBR but if it's the similiar it's hugger/guard in one and real carbon.

CrimsonCLoak, as iBuchon points out your website also lists a carbon fiber hugger for the Z1000 made by Coerce? Do they make one for the 07/08 or is it only available for the older models?
Poor planning on your part does not constitute a crisis on my part. Just chill and don't forget to go for a little thrill.

The Coerce hugger is only for the older style, and I haven't ordered one in forever, so it may even be discontinued by now. The Ermax items are the same price as the Ninja 650 parts shown on our website. Huggers are $179 painted and undertails are $229 painted.

I think I like some of the Puig stuff the best. Like the carbon fiber hugger and even the brand new belly pan they have on the USA site. the puigusa.com site linked earlier in the post shows that Tucker Rocky is one of their US distributors. Does that mean we can go into almost any motorcycle dealer in our area and they can order the Puig stuff?

I called one of their distributers in Illinois and they said I could give my local dealership part numbers and they can order anything for our new Zs! It'll just take a month or so to get. I downloaded the catalog and it has all the part numbers and photos of almost every part they offer. Here's the full monty.

http://www.puigusa.com/ Warning: I can only get this stupid site to come up sometimes

If you were still interested, here's where I put the leds. I used 2 of the original tabs closest to the plate and traded the insert with leds. Simple. Didn't know if that was enough light so I added another one in the middle of the tail. It lights up the plate nicely and covers the square hole left from removing the fender.
If I had to do again I would probably just order 2 of those purpose made leds for plates built into bolts from
Custom Dynamics

Here's the pictures of how I did it though. Here's the rear one. Actually a washer fluid sprayer from Autozone.

The other ones are barely noticeable unless it's dark. They look a lot like this, from another auto parts store.

Looks cool man, especially the hidden leds by the tags. Excellent job on the oil slick nozzles also.

BB: What tools were required and how long did it take you? Mine is suppose to arrive here at work today. I brought a bunch of small wrenches, one flat-head/one philips screwdrivers and both sets of hex wrenches hoping that I can slap it on during my lunch break in the parking lot so that I don't have to carry it home or leave it here over the weekend (then drive into work on Monday). Is a parking lot installation realistic? Thanks.
