Hello hello, just joined the forum and was glad to see it was a much more useful resource than other forums so far. I recently bought a 2011 Ninja 400r which is basically a 650r but with less powaaar, as I'm sure a lot of you know already. I've only had it for 2 weeks and so far I haven't dropped it yet, maybe thanks to pacific riding school and their little 250 sherpas. Anyway I'm already learning a lot about life with a motorcycle but I'm hoping to learn a lot more about the maintenance side of things.

Lots of questions and the owners manual isn't the most helpful. Simple stuff like topping off coolant, oil changes and product recommendations, chain lubing, and how to check for pretty much everything I can trust myself to other than brakes and valve adjustment. Should be the same setup as an an 09-11 Ninja 650r.
