Looks good man! Nice clean paint, good color coordinating. How much have you lowered it, and how long are your swingarm extensions?

You're probably going to get a few people that say they don't like it and the bike is meant for this and not meant for that and blah blah get a busa blah blah.

But I think it looks freakin awesome and its not like anybody elses bike. Which is what truly makes the Z a great bike to have.

BTW whats the word on the wheels and the seat? Got any pics of what you did with your handlebars?

Good lookin bike, like the stretch/slam but your lack of brakes scares me a little Only thing I would suggest is ordering the black case covers instead of red. $20 well spent IMO. I did the same.

That is a nice blue. I love it. I'd also like to know what your handle bar set up is. Kind of hard to tell in the picture, but looks low like I'm wanting to do.

Modified Z

Ok guys thanks for the positive comments. I will try to answer everyone questions. I used gsxr lowering links. 01-02 model 1000. I dropped it one hole. The front end i just played with it to give enough clearance to move. The handlebars are Honda CBR 900 Helibars. cbr 900 and 929 clip ons will work but they are a shorter in length. The helibars give it a better look. I think brand new Heli's are around $260. I used the zx9 extensions. The zx6 and zx12 extensions will work. I even thing the 04 05 zx10 extensions will work. They are 6 inch adjustable. I just don't like the crotch rocket engravement that came on them so i may get my machine guy to make some and have z1000 put on them. The wheels are actually ZX14 wheels. Not a lot of work. The front rotor will have to be slightly cut down to work in the caliper. You have to modify a the rear bracket for the rear brake. Since I am dragracing it I haven't had the bracket modified. Ported and polished head. zx9r cams. Look at the engine block very closely. Big block. 13:1 compression. It's meant to catch the 10 and 14 slipping in a 1/8 mile. power commander. 520 chain conversion. It works. Trust me. It knocked the time down quite a bit at the track when i changed it. 3 teeth up on the rear. The bike went 6.60 with nothing done to it but the chain conversion. If that is not enough to hold them off well I can always turn the schnitz five dial nitrous progressive system on.

Modified Z

Yeah Rich if the weather permits we all will find out what this thing can do. I just fired it up for the first time two weeks ago. This motor was built like 5 months ago and was busy with other projects. I got very excited when i finally heard it. It sounds awesome. I expect this bike to go 6.30's on the motor. maybe 20's. I expect the spray to put it around 5.80's. I'll keep you guys posted

I think a low stretched naked bike looks so much nicer than a busa.

Nice job, the rims are slick as hell.

Great looking bike Amerikaz. Where did you cut down on the rotors and by how much? Also any measurements on the adjustments for the front and rear zx14 wheels? Any weight difference from stock?

Thanks and compliments on the bike.

mmmm...juice!

the logical part of my mind feels that NOS is overkill on the Zee, but the other 90% of my mind says, "Hey, I want that on my bike"

I'm not a fan of blue, but your bike looks killer!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing I don't really like the the single front brake and please tell me you are are gong to run a rear brake. Other then that it's a great looking and i'm sure a fast bike.
