progress pics
I've been slowly working on the z over the winter.. It's coming along and hopefully the plastics/tank will be done this week (factory black w/gold z1000) Installed 2005 636 forks, pazzo levers, rizoma grips and bar ends, corbin seat on the way,520conversion, x-ring rk gold chain, painted the rims...what do you think? I"m not sure about the rims I may end up going to black with them? Looking for some input.. thanks

I like it a lot, especially the rims, don't go back to the red and polish

The rims tie in well with the forks. I like it.

your bike looks great. as you well know gold and black looks stunning. the combination of rims and forks and soon badges all play well off one another. Something i personally envy is your blatent overuse of carbon fiber from red racing, definate top quality product. keep up the good work. as far as the can and pipe go, im torn. black is all well and good but look how nicely the little flaming head skull guy sticks out just because its shiny. i kinda like the pipes the way they are.
in my humble opinion the wind screen needs to be carbon, and maybe gold the rear resovior cover. but man, thats nice, unique and coming together nicely. keep up the good work

Looken pretty good. Each blacked out bike always seems to cry for splash of color. Since you've got the deep gold forks, the rims are a strong statement but not over the top.

That looks awesome! I'm modding my bike, but went all black. The gold rims and forks are sweet together!
