Heres something a little different

Putting LED's all over my bike isn't really my thing, but thought this was a neat idea and was done nicely.

I'm with you... I'm not one for the flashy flare bling. But that was done well. Too many people make stuff like that look bad, wires hangin all over the place and whatever.

Apparently they were supposed to be "blue" diodes, but I think if he were to put some blue cellophane between the LED's and the acrylic tube sections, it may show up as blue a little better. Why he picked blue t go with the orange...the world may never know.

SWEET!

Wow, that's pretty wicked!

I might have to steal that idea too!

I'd probably just wire it up to the blinker though... having that on all the time would be a bit distracting...........

Clutch

On the related videos side bar, there's one on clutch lever showing how to shim and (maybe) get rid of the annoying buzz.
Anybody tried it?

whats the easiest way of wiring in LEDs of that sort? you'd only want them on with ignition on surely? no point in a seperate switch.

You'd want to get the wiring diagram and hook the entire LED system to one of the running lights or headlight connections so it only comes on once the engine is running. Like you say there's no point in having a separate switch. During the day the sun will be so bright that you won't really see the LED lighting but from dusk on it would light up as shown in the vid.

But for me I guess I must be getting too old or something. I remember when bikes were about performance and riding and not to be seen as objets d'art for boulevard cruising. But it's a whole new world out there.......
