new here with a 08 z

hi guys i just traded my 07 zx10r with lots of mods for a 08 z1000 and i love it!!
the 10 was stupid fast and i rode it fast, that mainly why i got rid of it cause of where i work and the laws in fl. i didnt want to risk it,the z1000 is pefrect for what i want,i just went on a 190 mile ride with my buds and it did fine just the seat is hard as hell!!!! but there was several times they were haulin *** and i would have been right there with them on the 10 but on the z @130+ i feel light i am going to fly off so i dont stay in it that long, keeps me in check but it is comfy and has plenty of tourqe!! anyway i look forward to modifying it and ridin the the beast. here are some pics for yall. also my little honda f4 600

Congrats on the new ride. I have to agree with you about the seat, I bought a 07 last week, and took it out today for the first time. We did 130 miles, and I love how the bike pulls, and it handles great, but that seat killed me....

My hiney must be made of rock because compared to the seat of my 2006 Z1000 my 08 Z1000 seat is like a Cadillac.

Congrats and welcome to the club. I bet you don't get too many other Z's on your rides compared to all the other ZX10's and ZX6's.

A Corbin seat did wonders for me, worth the money on longer trips.

+1...location, and bike yr/model should be made mandatory for profile. Just to eliminate confusion from member to member posts.

Welcome nitrofreek..Enjoy!

As much as some hated the pickle fork exhausts on the original is about half as much as I hate the blunderbuss exhausts on the new version. That sucker is just begging for a pair of slip-ons!

Glad to hear you love the Z. I love my Z too. It's a comfortable bike that looks cool and is fast, but not stupid fast. Last fall I did a 225 mile ride on my Z and my A$$ felt like I did a cannon ball on the pavment.

I had a 2000 F$ also, but mine was all there and clean LOL!

What my old F4 was a clean bike for having 33K on the clock and me being the third owner. I would neve go back to it after owning the Z. I'm not sure I could ever go back to any other sport bike after the Z? The Z rocks!!!!!!!!!

BTW I like your bro's street fighter F4.
