Corbin? Check. Tall windscreen? Check. Best of luck!
I don't know your route, but let me know if you hit Iowa between Iowa City and Bellvue - I'll buy! BC

I believe they are CorTech. I have them. The saddle and tail bags are all integrated. Very easy to put on and take off. Bought mine at Cycle Gear. ,BK

Hey Jason 306,
Just got back myself from Sturgis and hope your trip is going/went well. I would certainly do it again. Not as sore as I thought. Compression shorts helped alot. No rain and perfect weather. I do have a nice flat spot in my tire -- that is the only bad thing. Will have to scrub back in around a few local corners. We put on about 1200 miles total. Had one harley dude try and race me Needless to say, it was not a race at all. Almost was took out by two more not paying attention. You really have to be on your toes out there. Anyway, hope your trip was well and safe. Report details upon returning.... |

Thanks I just bought the saddlebags yesturday from a local shop, they had them in stock. I couldnt find the center one. I still have the stock turn signels so mine sit a little farther forward. I have to say they dont look that bad on the bike with just the side bags. I do alot of comuting and they will come in handy and let me leave the backpack at home, and I wont have to wear my heavy jacket to work on 80-90 deg days, I can put it in the bag.
Jason, how was the ride? hope the trip went well. Anything else you hav that makes long trips more comfratable? What seat is that? Thanks again. |

Just got back at about 4pm eastern time today. Altogether we almost rode 4000 miles in 11 days. I'll will start a new thread with some details and some AWESOME AWESOME pictures of the Z when I get some time.
Also my tailbag is a "Rally Pack" and it doesn't clip into my Cortech saddlebags. The Cortech tailbag was on back order so I had to make do with that one. Peace!

wow, that's crazy! I just rode out to sturgis on my 03 z1000 from columbus. i actually rode out with my girlfriend on the back, every stop she said she was dying. i was too though, took 2.5 days out, then 2 on the way back. i did see a z1000 out there, a blue one on 9th and lazelle, as well as a z 750. you could literally count the sportbikes on one hand. i wish i would have seen the post earlier, maybe we could have rode out together, i went with 2 others, one on a sv 650 and one on an fz1000. maybe a ride someday. may be hitting bike night at polaris tomorrow night, let me know if you make it out there!
