Everybody's always on the ultra lows, but I've never heard anyone going on about the Renthal Road Flats. If you want low, the rise and sweep is ZERO.

Heres a link. Try going back a page and you can compare all the bends.

In my opinion, I wouldn't want anything too low. Thats why I got the Zed. Unless you're planning on not going further than a hundred miles or don't mind sore wrists and shoulders.

Jump on the Renthal's. Love mine.. great balance of sport and roadgoing comfort. I'm considering clip-ons for the pain and precision though.

personally i got the renthal fatbars 601 bend. it's more of a personal choice, see if you could at least hop on somebody else's z1000 just to try their bar set up and base it from there.

Suburban Machinery, depending on how you position them. They offer a closer grip also:

The SubMacs are sweet if you have the stock forks, but for the 636 set-up, ultra's.

There are lower bars, but clearance with the tank is an issue. That is why I and so many others give them the nod. Run a flat bar if you want, just dont be surprised if they make contact at full lock. U.L.'s just feel right.
