Minimum required tensile strength for Z1000 chain?

Ok, so my stock chain and sprockets are pretty much done, and I need to put on new parts while on a budget.... so can anyone tell me what the tensile strength requirements are for the Z as far as the chain goes? So far I have sourced out steel sprockets from sprocket specialists (37.99 rear, 22.99 front), just not totally sure on the chain yet.

I dont mind constantly lubing a non-sealed chain, I just need to save some money right now.

If anyone knows the cheapest place to buy this stuff, by all means lmk. Thanks.

P.s. I tried looking up the stock chain on google (EK525 UVXL) and came up with nothing, oh well.
From what I can gather so far I guess I need 8500 lbs. tensile strength or better, anyone that knows for sure pls. chime in.

Well I dunno about all those numbers and stuff. But I go here

Go with a D.I.D. chain and call it a day, probably the best chain there is.

You can probably get by with 8000 to 8500 on the Z1000 but why go with the minimum when you can get a gold ek 9200 chain on ebay for $99 with free shipping ?

The higher strength chains give you a bigger safety margin, require less frequent adjustment and only cost a few dollars more.

When it comes to buying sprockets I like to stick with OEM on the front since they have the rubber dampener which cuts down on chain noise and if you are going to switch to a 15 tooth on the front you can get one off a 2007 Z1000. The rear sprocket I went more for looks so I got a gold anodized unit from Sprocket Specialties which is holding up quite well but will never outlast the steel ones.
