Whatever you decide to do, please use the Stock Style filters, not something you buy from Wal-Mart. Kawasaki put their filter on our bikes for a reason. I had to spend $1158.00 to find this out the hard way.

I fried my lifters in my rear cylinder because I used the Purolator and it didn't feed my engine the oil that it needed. The Stock filters were made to work with our engines and oil pressure. Be smart and pay the extra money for the stock filters.
