Ok, so after all the upgrades, the corbin seat, the banshee horn, the 12v aux plug and hours of fiddling with the carb I've decided to sell the ZR7..... The recent purchase of a 2010 z1000 may have influenced this sale just a bit.


So the bike has 18k going on 19k miles (still my daily driver), new clutch plates, steel plates and springs, all new cables both throttle and clutch. New rear tire (mitch, pro), still deciding if i'm taking the banshee horn with me or not if it makes the sale i'll include it, but if its no difference to the buyer i'll definitely take it to the new bike. When I bought the bike at 10k miles it has just had its valves checked, should be good for another 10k or so.

The bike is blue, its pretty much all stock. Still has a hell of a time starting on cold mornings but it does eventually start and runs just great once your underway.

lol, sorry seat stays with the bike. $1800 delivered is a little low for me, kinda taking a hit on all the work I just did to it.... it just needs a good carb cleaning/ balance and the fuel air mix screw on #4 is very tight, like hard to turn. This is still a great deal for a running, good looking bike.

Update: bought a new rear passenger peg to replace the broken one. Carb parts are in the mail.

Let it be known. The carb cleaning didn't take care of the hard starting. I'm guessing the last owner didn't "really" have the valves adjusted, or they moved enough in the last 8k miles to make it hard to get started. Once its up and running, its good to go. Took her around the block yesterday


Edit: did i mention the rear tourmaster soft bags go with it?

SOLD!!!! It went for $1700.00 + $60 for the tourmaster soft bags. I think the air horn made him soil his pants... I'm going to miss that little z
