    SOLD: 2000 Kawasaki ZR-7, ZR-750

    SOLD!!!!
    For sale here is a 2000 Kawasaki ZR-7.

    * 750 cc 4-cylinder engine, air cooled with auxiliary oil cooler
    * 5-speed transmission with "positive neutral" feature
    * Headlight Modulator & Break light Modulator
    * 68,000 miles
    * NEW tires
    * NEW brake pads
    * National Cycle F-16 tinted windscreen (easily removable)
    * Upgraded (larger battery MOD)
    * K&N Filter
    * Recirculation Valve removed--still have part
    * Pilot Jets adjusted to 3 turns out..
    * New Chain Heavy Duty O-Ring DID
    * New Rear Shock from ZX6RF--New Shock fluid and Nitrogen reservoir. TOTALLY ADJUSTABLE and SERVICABLE rear shock!!!!!!!**
    * Fresh oil in Forks 15wt
    * New Front Fork Springs (progressive)
    * Gas Tank Gauge Resistors installed..makes the gauge more accurate.
    * Fresh DOT 4 Brake Fluid and Recently installed pads...30% wear
    * New heavy Duty Barnett Clutch Springs...(the stock springs liked to slip at High RPM)
    *New Clutch Plates--Although these were not needed and I have the originals..I figured since I was there I would put the new in..The problem was only the springs)
    * All Service records and does not need anything.
    It's been extremely well taken care of and was a COMMUTER bike only! Owned by a Mature person who has a keen respect for all the bikes he has owned.
    *60 MPG! at 63MPH!!!!!!!!! Great mileage. (using Synthetic 5w-30)

    *$2,850.00

    **NOTE: (For all interested: Please consider this Before making me any offers) The rear shock was nine hundred bucks Alone. And you will not find a ZR-7 with a serviceable rear shock. I rebuild motorcycle suspensions and did all the work.

    How the heck are you getting 65 mpg? I've never seen anyone with a 7s claim that...

    I get about 50... if you gear it down some more, and ride like a grandma on highway only downhill.... maybe....

    Going down to sandiego....I was averageing 60mph and at a two hour stretch you will do that easy. However there were some downhills and flat areas. At 55MPH if you can safely do that speed you will easily do that. I see no mreason to ever be in a hurry...it never makes any difeerence anyway...if you adopt that you will get good milage whatever you drive!

    I can run 55mph all day long on (with out stops/starts) and the best I get is 55 mpg. I can run 75-80 and I don't get less than 45 mpg. I see the original post now says 60 mpg, which is still confusing since you haven't really done anything to the air flow. You put the K&N in, but the exhaust is still restrictive. I'd like to figure it out though, I wouldn't mind getting up to 60 mpg even!
