I have come into the possesion of a 1972 Kawasaki model G3SSB 90cc, single cylinder, two stroke motorcycle. It was purchased by my brother as a complete running bike, and he then tore it down and proceded to retore it, but never finished it, and he just gave it to me last week, as he was tired of stumbling over it in his garage.
Its all complete, but not assembled and the frame, side stand, center stand and foot peg bracket have been sand blasted and powder coated gloss black, and all of the metal parts have been rechromed. Both of the S/S fenders are in great shape with no dents, as is the gas tank also.
The seat appears to be brand new, and has Kawasaki printed across the back in white lettering, and he told me he has spent almost $800 on it so far for what he has had done to it.
I have checked a couple of vintage Kawasaki motorcycle websites, and was told that as it is, it worth somewhere around $300 to the right person, as it does have some collector value to it, as thats why my brother bought it in the first place to restore, and it if you have the time to put it back together, it would be a great little project for your kids to possibly work on.
I will intertain any and all resonable offers for it. I'm in Lancaster CA.
Heres a picture I found on the internet of what the bike looks like when its assembled.
