I am good with Maggie Valley. Franklin is a litlle more centrally located so its easier to get a lot of of good roads but Maggie has more stuff there like the motorcycle museum in case one day is a rainout. Really, I am open to just about anywhere.

I'm game to either. I moved back to Louisville so my trip is a little farther than from Nashville.

I enjoyed it when it was at Wytheville the first year I attended the ROTR. There were some great roads around that area (the Snake etc)

Last year was great too when we stayed at Maggie Valley because it was close enough to all the great roads (Tail of the dragon, devil's triangle, cherohala skyway, etc.). Either way would work.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this year as I'm currently located too far away.

I vote Maggie Valley. It's a longer ride to get there for me but I can go US-23 most of the way, which is far more entertaining than I-77 to I-81. And I do like the roads in that neighborhood!

Holy crap you weren't kidding US-23 most of the way! I'm game. We need to talk about departure times!

Ok, to keep this simple let's just book through the website. This is the same place we stayed last year. From my research it is one of the best values in the area that is still available.

Sounds good to me. I'll try to get that week off when our vacation pick rolls around.
