I'm going to start a vote in a seperate thread to see what kind of a response we get from moving the ROTR 7 from Virginia to Suches, GA.

I hope it's somewhere in the 400 mile range for me. Anything above is quite a stretch.

I think one in the south and the second one in the north would be best, that would cut the range for a lot of people and maybe more could come out and play.
Can't slow down, the Langoliers will get me
I was thinking more southwest Maryland.

I know for me, trying to get the extra time off to go to Va is a stretch. If it was in N Ga, I could just head up after work and cut 2 days off of my vacation (or add in 2 more days of riding). Having an option closer to home makes it MUCH more likely that I will attend. I understand that this is the same for the folks from farther north where Ga would be more of a ? if they go or not.
Is there a place in NC that could serve to accomodate both factions? I haven't been yet, so I don't know how far you range each day, maybe NC is already traveled.
If not, doing a N Ga base camp (Suches/TWO) would provide numerous, fabulous roads and be an easy distance to the Gap and BRP for those that haven't been before.
Just a thought, and probably already been hashed over. Hopefully I can make it to wherever the next one is. Maybe I talk my FIL (Kansas) into coming, it would take care of the no one west of the Mississippi thing.

Just bought a new winter riding jacket, and gloves, and am ready to try them out. Now I just need it to cool down so I can see if they perform as advertised.
We are in agreement as far as when not to ride. I'll give you a heads up when I head your direction.
I'm afraid you guys may start doubting my existance!![]()

Here's two to get you started! Taken in London Ohio at the Spring Fling. MY brother was nice enough to let me drive his silver Cobra in the grand entrance!
I'm sorry for getting this thread!
