Awesome deal on rev'it sirocco
So I'm super excited as i found a german website still selling the sirocco in only 2 sizes out of the 3 color combinations. One size happened to be XL which is supposed to fit like a small large. Perfect sizing for me. Cant wait to get it in. Also was able to score a pair of rev'it sand pants locally in black from someone who was gifted a set he could not fit into for half the price of a new pair. Will be testing out the set in a few weeks on a trip to west virginia. Here is a pic of what it looks like. The pants i bought are black and not the pictured older model dakar pants.
Here is a link to where you can buy the jacket if your interested. Its probably the best touring spring summer fall to early winter jacket you can buy. Its also not made anymore, so if your a size xs, xl, or xxl you still can grab one. Just remember rev'it sizes super small so no clue who will fit into a xs other then a small child lol.
Will come to 260 with ups 3-10 day shipping after they take off vat. If you do the slower shipping method should be 40 cheaper. That is just a steal of a price.

I have ordered from them. Sometimes shipping can take months if they do not have it in stock. The delivery times are meant for when they actually have the product. Although they do not charge the credit card until the order is on its way.

I ordered one last week with the slow shipping. Think i could use it down to the 30 degree F range? How do you like yours? Wish they had the white one in stock.

Ok i just got my Sirocco jacket in 14 days using the slow shipping method. $202 well spent. My first impression is that it is extremely well built and versatile. Small fits me very nicely, even better than my rev'it air jacket. The arms are not too long like the Air jacket, they are just the right length for me.

Sorry didnt see your question earlier. I liked the sirocco very much. I like the way my rev'it dragon (my favorite jacket i have ever owned) feels better, but the sirocco is better for hot weather and has better armor. Temperature rating is different from person to person, but i personally cant imagine wearing it down to 30 as is. 40 i think would be manageable, bellow that and i would be reaching for my heated jacket. I ended up selling it to a friend as i got a great deal on a barely used teiz power shell suit for dirt cheap. Got it for less than half price, and the convenience of the full suit is nice plus the venting on it is actually better than the sirocco. Sucks not having the rain liners, but i have rain gear i can wear over it anyway or use the liners from my dragon jacket and sand pants.
Did you buy the sastech back armor upgrade? My teiz power shell came with full sastech armor and i immediately ordered a back protector from revzilla for my dragon once i saw it in person as it feels that much more protective.

I've got a CE back armor from somewhere that i modified to fit the Sirroco. I am leaving it out and using the foam unless i take a long trip.
So far its very well ventilated in 81 degree weather.
